TCL TV Remote Guides: Find Your Platform First
A TCL television runs one of three platforms, and the platform — not the TCL name — decides how a phone connects. TCL Roku TVs connect with no code. TCL Google TV and Android TV models show a 6-digit code once. TCL Fire TV models show a 4-digit code once. Pick your platform below and follow the guide written for it.
The numbered series (3, 4, 5 and 6) are Roku TVs. The Q-Class is Google TV, the S-Class is split between Roku and Google TV depending on the tier, and the Fire TV line is its own family. If you are unsure, the home screen tells you: channel tiles mean Roku, a "For you" row means Google TV, an Amazon profile means Fire TV.
